On Tuesday 29th October, over 60 Friends were at Kelvingrove Art Gallery to attend a special 80th Anniversary Drinks Reception accompanied by a selection of delicious finger food and celebration cake with tea and coffee in the North Gallery. Afterwards we were entertained by organist William Hutcheson playing a tremendous selection of musical pieces on the Kelvingrove Organ, including our very own “Friends of Glasgow Museums” composed by James Hunter. Everyone had a very enjoyable time and all our thanks to the staff in the different departments at Kelvingrove for making our day run so smoothly and go so well.
Friends enjoy celebrating our 80th Anniversary with a Drinks Reception and Special Organ Recital at Kelvingrove!
