Friends had an interesting and highly informative visit to the Tall Ship Glenlee. We were given very enjoyable tours by our three wonderful guides, Liz, Vera and Lauren, about the history of the ship and what life was like for the seamen working on this Victorian sailing ship. We saw the different decks, the cargo holds and the living quarters. You definitely needed to be hardy and fit to work on this vessel during its working life! We were glad, after the rigours of the tour, to go to the ?Tween? deck for a delicious lunch with refreshments and cakes to recover! Many thanks to all the staff onboard for making our trip so successful.ÿ
