Thank you to Margaret Anderson for the highly enjoyable and informative guided walking tour of Kelvingrove Park near Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum today. The group of 20 Friends were given detailed information about the establishment of the park, the background to the building of the Art Gallery and Museum and the stories of the different monuments, statues and the Tom Honeyman memorial garden found in the park. The beautiful weather added to the visit, as did the visit to the Cafe in Kelvingrove for tea/coffee and yummy cakes! Margaret has promised a follow up walking tour that I am sure many members would love to join! Keep a look out for information coming after the summer.ÿ
