Friends enjoy their visit to Still Glasgow Exhibition at GoMA

20 Friends were delighted to attend a very special private visit to the Still Glasgow Photography Exhibition that is currently on display at the Gallery of Modern Art in the city centre. Katie Bruce, Producer and Curator at GoMA, gave us a wonderful insight into how all the images were chosen; the lives of the photographers who had taken the images; and the history and stories behind many of the photographs. It was a trip down memory lane, remembering the Glasgow of old and seeing how it has been rebuilt and transformed in the vibrant city of today. It was a privilage to also be able to view the exhibition without other members of the public there where we were able to take our time studying each of the detailed images. We finished our visit with tea/coffee and enormous slices of delicious cake in the Studio on the 5th Floor surrounded by Adrian Wiszniewski’s stunning murals. Many thanks to all the staff at GoMA and particularly Katie Bruce for making our visit to GoMA such a success!
